Christmas in July
Leya here with another random update. Sometimes things just pop in my head, and they have to come out. So, while I’ve been churning out books already this year–You’ve Got Bookmail released in February and Shar’s Story in May–I started thinking about my first Hot Hallmark novel that came out last November. It was myContinue reading “Christmas in July”

Writing Elapsed Time
Day 34 of 365 days of blogging. I saw a blog prompt that asked how the passage of time influences life events and I thought I’d share my struggles with writing elapsed time instead. Impostor Syndrome
Day 33 of 365 days of blogging. Leya here and having a moment. I usually only take over the blog when something is happening or happens in relation to one of my books, generally while I’m writing it. Give Yourself Grace
Day 14 of 365, but really Day 10 of blogging. I have not written a blog post since Tuesday, so I figured today was the perfect day to talk about it. As I said when I first started this 365 day challenge that my goal is to become more consistent with my blogging. Obviously, thatContinue reading “Give Yourself Grace”
Characters Acting Badly
Day 9 of 365 of blogging. Leya Layne here, so this one might not be safe for work, or children. Let’s take a moment to talk about characters who don’t follow the plan. Oh, who am I kidding, most of the time there isn’t a plan. There’s a vibe. There’s an idea. There’s a littleContinue reading “Characters Acting Badly”
